Server's database experience is unparalleled. Not only are we
one of the only hosts to provide access to both MS SQL Server
and Oracle, but we our DBAs are extensively trained to assist
customers in managing and troubleshooting their database environment.
High Availability
Solutions
Adult Web
Server offers a number of options to provide high-availability,
clustering solutions for both SQL Server and Oracle. These options
are based on each customer's needs as well as upon industry standards
and will offer the highest levels of uptime. Customers requiring
high availability database backends should contact Adult Web Server's
sales department to discuss our HA database options.
Shared
SQL Server DB Services
Although many
customers may have dedicated web servers, they do not always require
dedicated database servers. Adult Web Server offers shared SQL
Server database hosting for all customers within its facilities.
Customers receive a set amount of disk space and DBO privileges
to their databases. Of course, dedicated database servers are
always available to our customers. The shared option should really
only be used by customers in development or expecting light amounts
of database traffic.

Shared
Oracle Services
Although many
customers may have dedicated web servers, they do not always require
dedicated database servers. Adult Web Server is one of the only
hosts selected by Oracle to offer shared Oracle hosting. We offer
shared Oracle database hosting on a HA Sun Cluster system which
provides one of the highest levels of data availability and redundancy
possible on a shared platform. As always, customers should always
evaluate whether a shared platform is really adequate for their
needs.

Instead of
hiring your own DBA team, you can take advantage of the vast experience
Adult Web Server's DBAs have gained in managing thousands of customers.
Assistance can be provided on an ongoing monthly basis or services
can be provided for hourly purposes.
Hourly
SQL Server DBA Assistance:
$250 per hour with a 30 minute minimum. Available with 24 hour
notice.
Emergency
SQL Server DBA Assistance:
$400 per hour with a 1 hour minimum. Available with 2 hour notice.
Standard
SQL Server Administration Package:
$250 per server per month
- Adult
Web Server manages the addition of users and permissions.
- Resolution
and tracking of storage allocation issues.
- Monitor
the availability of SQL Server databases.
- Additional
DBA assistance available at $175 per hour with 30 minute minimum
with a 24 hour notice window.
Gold
SQL Server Administration Package:
$500 per server per month
- All features
of the standard package.
- SQL Server
patch tracking and application.
- Monitor
performance of SQL Server databases and make capacity planning
recommendations once per month if necessary.
- Monthly
DBCC database checks.
- Additional
DBA assistance available at $175 per hour with 30 minute minimum
with a 12 hour notice window.
- Manage
daily incremental backups and weekly full backups of up to
1GB of SQL data.
- Each
additional GB costs $35 per month. Any restores not due to
hardware failure cost $100 per GB.
Platinum
SQL Server Administration Package:
$1250 per server per month
- All the
features of the Gold package.
- 2 hours
of troubleshooting assistance per month (cannot be carried
over from month to month). Must be requested 12 hours in advance.
- 1 hour
of emergency assistance per month (can not be carried over
from month to month). Available within 2 hours of request.
- Once
per month security audits.
- Once
per month conferences between customer and their dedicated
DBA team at Adult Web Server.

Server's Oracle DBAs have decades of experience designing and
managing high-availability Oracle solutions. Instead of hiring
your own DBA team, you can take advantage of this experience.
